This napkin ring is legit. The lady is
missing her parsol. Marked James W Tufts 1597.
The boy is holding a stick an hoop which was a game back in the day
(19th century).
What is concerning is the extra stamp JAS. W Tufts.
Lots of FAKES were made with this stamp.
Maybe the stamp "JAS W. TUFTS" is not fake at all. Interesting. Below
is an authentic one.

think this is made up but a lot of them are or were is ciculation that
may make people think it was made by a major silverplate company.
They may have also been made by someone back in the day even.
What
goes against that theory is that teh rings are all different and in
some cases poor quality, but where did all the cat and cart bits come
from?
Did someone mass produce them in the 1980s? Where did the cat come
from?
