The napkin ring sits on the back of 2 opposing foxes. Very dark tarnish with patina.
It is in excllent condition though. Marked as made by Middletown Plate Co. #66

This figuarl napkin ring with 2 foxes supporting the napkin holder on their backs is similar to the one above.
Marked Simpson Hall Miller & Co.  It seems to be numbered no. 1 or 7, but I am not sure.
I think it is a & as I believe I have  FNR with greyhounds that is marked number 1 by SHM&Co.
In excellent condition.

2 small foxes sit on eith side of this figural napkin ring. Marked Meriden Silver Plate Co. 217.

Similar theme to those above with two foxes on either side of a waist shaped napkin holder on a base with legs.
Marked Rockford 174.

3 x In this figural napkin ring a fox hides behind a bush which holds up the napkin ring.
Marked Derby Silver Co. 364.

They valued it at $200 to $350 in 1996.

fox peeping around corner of napkin ring

fox pulling napkin ring on wheels, unmarked as far as I can tell, bottom is quite dirty, need to clean to have a good look.
This ring is probably a fake, but not as fake as this one which is made from the ring with a dog (rip van winkle's),
and is marked SHM&Co. 0333 like the dog ring. See my ring in the DOGS category.

2 x In this figural napkin ring the napkin holder (ring) forms the body of a fox with red glass eyes.
There is also a similar ring with a pug dog, cat, and owl.
The ring is unmarked, which is the normal for this example.
With regard to the first one of these rings (2 photos), the people who sold it to me entered it in the Hillsdale County Fair and guess what?
It won first place. See second photo.
The other ring is in even better condition with a fabulous patina.

A large fox carries the napkin ring on its back with grapes hanging from above.
Made by Meriden B Co. 331, but I find it hard to locate the mark. Marked small on tail. :) BAHH

This figural napkin ring has a large wolf standing next to an engraved napkin holder on a base,
which was used quite a lot by Barbour Silver Co. (see for example cherub napkin rings) It is marked Barbour Silver Co. # 9.
In excellent condition.

This figural napkin ring has the same wolf as in the above ring but next to a triangular napkin holder.
Marked barbour Silver Co. 21.
It is authentic as I have seen it a few times around the place.
