Here are my figural napkin rings with an Australian theme.
Most are made in Australia, but some in England. There are also some kangaroo American figural napkin rings in the category "animals"

This is similar to the ones above but has an aborigibal man's bust on top.
Marked as made by Stewart Dawson.



Another 2 more figural napkin rings with the boomerrang theme which was quite popular as a support in a lot of napkin rings.
These rings are marked with a set square and a compass in a square , with EPNS and 23.

the boomerang plays a prominent part in Australian napkin rings. In this ring the boomerang are engaved and lie curved with the napkin ring.
The ring and boomerangs sit on a map of Austalia with sits on 4 ball feet. It is marked EPNS.
It is interesting that the staes are marked out and as per usual Tasmania is missing. The condition is near mint.




This napkin ring sits aloft a pedestal base decorated with leaves. Marked S witha  slash EPNS Made in Australia

A kangaroo stands on a base in the shape of Australia next to a napkin ring. Marked Best English Pewter. This is probably c 1940's, not sure.


This figual napkin ring has the napkin holder sitting on a footed base taking the shape of a map of Australia. marked EPNS, a leaf (or crown) and a Star.
Made in England.


Another napkin ring with a kangaroo next to a napkin ring (this one is quite ornate), on a base the shape of Australia. This one has the states marked out, without Tasmania.


Another kangaroo on a map of Austrlia base figural napkin ring. Marked EPNS (symbol of an eagle?) Made in Australia. 


This figural napkin ring is similar to the one above. Slightly different engraving on the ring. marked EPNS Stokes& Sons.



2 x A simple figural napkin ring with a kangaroo, marked S&S epns Made in Australia.
Second has badge of Wellington NSW (population 4000 in 2017), which was an old mining town founded in about 1820.
Second one is marked Georgian with boomerrang and star.

Note that the Knagaroo and emu are the other way around in the other ring.

Note the rings are different. Both marked EP NS S&S (Stokes & Son) Made in Australia, map one also has "Georgian" inscribed on it.
Both in near mint condition.

This Australian figural napkin ring has an emu standing on an Australian map base on ball feet next to the napkin holder. Marked A.C. & Co. (made in Australia) EPNS.



An emu stands on top of a ring which itself sits on a base in the sahpe of Australia.
Marked Falcon 4958.


A Kiwi bird stands alongside a waisted napkin ring. In excellent condition overall.


This figural napkin ring is similar to the one above but the napkin holder is different. The hallmark is EPNS (script) and looks to be G.W. & S Ltd, which I think is George Wish and Sons, but I am not sure. It is c1910. 


This is a very rare figural napkin ring witha koala bear hunging a tree, all sitting on a leaf base. Marked EP A1 NS




2 x This figural napkin ring has a kookaburra sitting on a tree stump which connects to the napkin holder. EP(symbol?)NS, Made in Australia.
A ring similar to this is shown in G&W page 83, plate 185, made by A.C. & Co.
Their kookaburra seems to be a bit bigger and has its mouth open.
They valued it at $200-350 in 1996





Another kookaburra figural napkin ring with a dome shaped ring.
Marked EP/A1/NS


Another kookaburra figural napkin ring with a similar setup to above (kookaburra on a stump),
but here all on a leaf base on ball feet.
Marked EPNS with a winged grython (?).
I think it is the same maker as the one above. Need to research maker some time.

Similar to the one above but the kookaburra is at a slightly different angle. I think?
And yes, the kookaburra is indeed supposed to be on an angle different to the previously listed one.
I had another one I sold since.





2 x This pierced ring has a colourful enamelled kookaburra on the side.


This is another figural napkin ring with a koala sitting on top of a decorated napkin holder with instef is suported by 2 boomerangs. It is marked EPNS ?.P&M Co. S&S.
I would suggest that this figural napkin ring was made in England by ?.P&M Co. for S&S (Stokes & Sons, Australia)



Two lovely matching Australian figural napkin rings, one with an attached emu and one with an attached kangaroo.
Both are in excellent condition and marked EPNS S&S (stands for Stokes & Sons) Made in Australia.




2 x An extra emu ring like the one above. Stokes & Sons, and Georgian.



This is an Australian figural napkin ring which has a lawn bowler about to bowl. It is marked Pheonix Plate EPNS Made in Australia.
It has the name E.H. Rudd on it (the same as one of our Prime Ministers).
It came form an elderly lady from the famous Rudd family who operated pubs in the Toowoomba area for many years.
It may have been given to E.H. Rudd as a prize perhaps. Any information welcome.



This figural napkin ring is an aboriginal man with a boomerang standing on a base that is shaped like the map of australia.
The ring has a raised edge with some chased fern leaves on it. The base sits on 4 ball feet. It is marked Dunklings EPNS 34.




This napkin ring has an aboriginal man about to throw a boomerang.
It is marked with the symbol for Stokes & Sons and has the number 26.
It is beautifully hand engraved as well.



This is an Australian figural napkin ring with a swan. Marked EPNS.



This figuarl napkin ring has a swan sitting on a base taking the sahpe of the map of Australia.
The ring and swan are screwed into the base with a nut and bolt, and are interchangeable.
The fact that the swan sits over Western Australia,
and the because the black swan has significance for Perth WA,
may mean it was made with WA in mind.
It is marked with a Masionic symbol and is numbered 88.






Two beautiful 'matching' figural napkin rings, one with a kangaroo and one with an emu.
Both marked Stewart Dawson 25, so must have been sold as a pair.



vintage Australian napkin ring with a kangaroo standing on a gum leaf.
Seems to be cast in bronze, some silverplate loss, but in excellent condition, quite unique. Unmarked.




2 x an epns napkin ring held up by 4 golf clubs. Marked EPNS, made in England.
I only seem to have one golf one. Might have sole one.


A rare cricket bat figural napkin ring.
It is quite a novelty as it was given as a trophy for the best footballer (not cricketer, lol) to someone in 1945


This figural napkin ring has cricket wickets and a cricket bat on either side of the napkin holder, all sitting on a fancy elongated base. Marked D.B. & S., E.P.B.M., 8714/1. Engraved "Presented to our old Sport and Captain, from the Boys, N.F.C. 1914. I think this may be referring to the Norwood Football Club. The football players were also cricketers. See this link:

This was given to their captain mentor and coach just before WW 1 (note date 1914).
I will have to do some resarch some day to see if I can find out who this person was.
He may have gone off to war.




2 x napkin ring with tennis rachet and ball, marked Dawson & Co. 0256
This is an Australian Fogural napkin ring.
